Synopsis:
Derek,
although an experienced computer applications consultant, is an Engineer
by training and desire now specialising in the application of computerised
manufacturing control systems. He has over 30 years experience in all sectors
of manufacturing industry and has successfully shared this experience in
consultancy, training, product development and project management roles with
a wide range of clients.
He acts as a consultant, project manager, business analyst, QA advisor, educator and trainer on all types of applications associated with manufacturing industry.
He recently completed a 3-year project with Jaguar Cars Ltd. at Coventry on the next generation Electronic Release & Change Control and Shared Vehicle Bills Of Materials systems to be implemented World Wide across all Ford sites.
He is currently writing the Maintenance Manuals for the BIW line supplied to Jaguar, Castle Bromwich by Comau Estil Systems in Solihull.
