The X1/9's gone....................but the MR2 is still mine. MR2

After getting hooked on mid-engined sports cars via the Bertone X1/9, I also bought a Mark 1 Toyota MR2.

First MR2 first appeared on the UK roads in 1984 and owes much to the X1/9.  Many people say that the MR2 is what the X1/9 would have been had Fiat continued to develop it.

But thats enough about X1/9's, there are pages devoted to it on my Web site lets concertrate on the MR2.

The International MR2 Owners Club is the focus for enthusiast of both the Mk I and the Mk II  MR2.  Visit their site for full details.

The Mk I many beleive to be the purer "Sports Car" whereas the Mk II is established as the most capable Gran Tourer at an affordable price in the UK today.
