2000 - 2001

 GEORGE TALBOT (Manager) George is now in his ninth season as Manager at Uxbridge, prior to this he was coach for one season. Before joining the "Reds" he was Manager at Harefield United, Staines Town and Walton & Hersham. As a player George played at Hillingdon Borough, Uxbridge, Staines Town and Walton & Hersham. He has led the "Reds" to five London Challenge Cup Finals and a Middlesex Senior Cup Final.

JOHN FLANAGAN (Coach) John joined George Talbot's staff in the summer, although he had previously been helping out with both the reserve and youth sides. John is a former Uxbridge player who has also played for Hillingdon Borough, Yeading and Chalfont St Peter.

GAVIN BAMFORD (Defender) Date of Birth 30/5/77. A highly talented player who has graduated through the ranks to the first team squad having been outstanding in the Youth and Reserve sides. He made he first team debut in December 1995 and has made over 270 appearances so far, scoring 15 goals in the process. Besides being a fine defender, Gavin is also a very capable midfield player as well.

STUART BAMFORD (Defender) Date of Birth 8/1/76. Stuart, an uncompromising defender, signed on Isthmian forms in August 1996 after having successfully progressed through the ranks at Uxbridge from the Reserves and into the first team squad. Also a regular representative for the Middlesex County F.A. Older brother of Gavin and a former Players' Player of the Year.

LEYTON BROOKS (Utility) The latest to progress from the Uxbridge reserve side, this talented player is equally at home in defence or midfield. Another former Brentford youth who had brief spells at Chertsey Town and Yeading before joining Uxbridge towards the end of 1998/99.

NEIL BURNS (Goalkeeper) Former youth team keeper who has already progressed to the Suburban League side with some impressive displays. Joined the club in November 99 from neighbours Hayes.

DEAN CLARK (Midfield) Date of Birth 31/3/80. Local talented midfielder was a second year professional at Brentford. Has joined Uxbridge permanently following a successful three month loan spell after his release from Griffin Park. Made his Brentford debut at Luton in January 1998, making four first team appearances in all. Has now made over 30 appearances for the Reds and scored 4 goals.

JAMIE CLEARY (Midfield) Date of Birth 6/11/74. Another former Youth player who has progressed through the ranks at Uxbridge. An important member of the team and yet another success story from the Club's Youth Policy. He has made almost 300 appearances. His appearances last season were severely restricted by injury.

KEVIN CLEARY (Defender) Date of Birth 7/9/76. Rejoined Uxbridge in January '99 from Chertsey Town, whom he had left the Reds for in the summer of 98. This classy defender was at Brentford as a youth and was the Uxbridge Supporters Player of the Year in 1997/98. Has made over 130 appearances so far.

SEAN DAWSON (Goalkeeper) Date of Birth 8/6/69. A highly rated and agile goalkeeper who last season joined the Uxbridge coaching staff. He is now in his 12th season at Uxbridge after signing from Spartan League neighbours Hanwell Town. Sean was voted PIayer of the Year for the second time in 1994/95 and has now made fast approaching 600 appearances for the "Reds".

MICHAEL FREDRIKSEN (Forward) Date of Birth 17/9/66. Michael signed on Isthmian forms in November 97 after impressing greatly in the Suburban League side, where he scored regularly. Previously with Northwood. Appearances last season were hampered by work commitments.

MARK GILL (Midfield) Date of Birth 29/5/69. Mark is a stylish left-sided attacking midfield player and captains the side. A very loyal clubman, he has made over 420 appearances for the "Reds" so far despite missing two seasons through injury. Has scored over 120 goals for the club from his midfield position.

PHIL GRANVILLE (Defender) Date of Birth 2/1/73. Phil signed Isthmian forms for the Club in March 1995 after performing consistently well for the Reserves in the Suburban League. Phil has also been honoured to be selected for the Middlesex County Representative side and since breaking into the 1st team has made over 290 appearances. Never fails to give less than 100%.

DANNY JORDAN (Midfield) Latest of the Uxbridge production line that has seen Danny rise from the youth team, through the reserves and reach the first team squad. Danny made some first team appearances two seasons ago and has now become a talented wide midfielder who also got his fair quota of goals in the Suburban League last season.

PAUL MILLS (Defender) Date of Birth 22/10/77. Paul signed for the "Reds" in September 1996 and is an excellent defender, who can also play in midfield. Paul was previously with Brentford and briefly Woking. Paul is the Club's penalty taker and has now played over 200 games for the club. Paul won both the Player of the Year and Supporters Player of the Year in 1998/99.

CHRIS MOORE (Forward) Date of Birth 13/1/80. Chris joined the Club midway through 1997/98 from Hendon, who he had joined from Brentford. Highly talented individual at his best when running at defenders who caught the eye on many occasions last season, scoring some spectacular goals. Current Player of the Year.

NICKY RYDER (Forward) Date of Birth 6/10/71. A hardworking striker who joined the "Reds" in August 1992 and having previously played for Plymouth Argyle, Bristol Rovers, Brentford, Kingstonian, Hounslow, Hayes and Farnborough Town. He has made over 400 appearances so far and has scored 128 goals. He has been the Club's leading goalscorer five times in his seven seasons although he has suffered a lot of injury problems over the last couple of seasons.

LEE TUNNELL (Forward) Locally based young striker who joined the club in March 99 from Chertsey Town. Lee joined Chertsey after he had been released by Brentford where he was on the YTS scheme. Has shown a lot of promise since becoming a first team regular prior to Christmas. Scored his first goal, in his first start, against Braintree and went on to become leading scorer, also picked up both the Players Player and the Supporters Player of the Year.

MARK WEEDON (Defender) Date of Birth 14/2/78. Mark is a stylish but powerful central defender who signed Isthmian forms for the "Reds" in August 1997 after impressing greatly in the programme of pre-season matches. Previously with Nationwide League neighbours Brentford and also appeared for Harrow Borough. Mark has made over 130 appearances.
