3D Max.

I purchased the 3DMax card at a computer auction im 1996 (35.00 GBP). I had to downgrade my PC's graphics card in order to use it but the results were quite rewarding. It is a well made if a little ageing piece of kit and came with excellent software in the form of two CDRoms (The Renderware software development kit including demo games and walkthroughs and a CDROM of high quality 3d Photos along with basic 3d image manipulation software).My view is that when the 3DMAX was launched great things had been expected of it - but it just didn't happen (at least not over here in England). A great pity. A definite future collectors item and a useful bit of kit to boot. (When I wrote this the KASAN web site was still advertising the 3DMax card).
