Kodak Stereo Camera

Another Classic American Stereo Realist from the fifties this was Kodak's answer to the popularity enjoyed by the Realist 33 Camera. Similarly featured to the Realist Kodak's main weapons were its brand name and production facilities which enabled them to sell this camera for almost half the price of the Realist. (In fact the Kodak went on sale for $84.50 against the Realists' hefty tag of $152.00).

Good and Bad Points (depending on your viewpoint)

• Spirtit level in the viewfinder (assists in maximising stereo effect).
• No Flash Shoe (old style flash mounting supported).
• Some Plastic parts.
• Brand Name.
• Viewfinder not designed for forehead aproach - OK if you have a flat nose.
• Screw in Filters readily available.
