'The rugged coast from St. Just to St. Ives is
one of the most spectacular in Britain, with a hinterland etched
with pocket-sized fields and stone hedges, watched over by wind-hewn
granite carns and heathland.'
If you would like to explore some of this wonderful
countryside a new book of walks has just been published. 'Nine Walks
around St. Just & St. Ives' gives clear, lucid, directions for
nine walks of 3 miles to 7 miles long between St. Just and St. Ives.
Along with maps there are archive pictures, photographs of the wildlife
you may see and snippets of information on the history of the area.
The book of walks is available from Tourist Information
Centres and many shops and galleries in the area.
