Matters Arising
- It was reported that funding from AONB was for Sustainable Development Projects. Details of the criteria had been forwarded to Councillors. As “undergrounding” will be part of the Parish Plan, approach to be made to BT to ascertain their current position.
- Draw ticket still remains unclaimed therefore second reserve number – 125 – to be publicised.
Planning No new applications at this time. It had been observed that work had commenced at Bosvean. PDC representative confirmed to the Chairman that “like for like” repairs could be undertaken but that any changes would need planning consent.
Finance Annual return has been certified by Audit Commission and invoice received, payment of £58.75 approved. Auditors fee £13.69 approved. Parish Paths payment of £288 approved.
Parish Paths Jon Swannell reported that the final payment completed the budget and works for the year.
Transport Jenni Pozzi reported that the winter bus timetable had now been circulated. The owner of Sunset buses is very ill; she will send a card on behalf of the parish.
Correspondence letter received from PDC re War Memorials commission to be passed to Church council.
PDC letter advised projected costs for next year’s elections, to be considered when setting precept.

- Leaflets Jenni Pozzi gave application form for Rural Transport Grant to A.Penhaul. Quotation for printing 6000 = £364 inc VAT + 1p per sheet for black and white on reverse. J.Lindfield suggested adding an amount for distribution costs. A & C Penhaul will submit application.
- Notice Boards C.Penhaul observed that both boards needed refurbishment. J.Swannell was asked to do the necessary work.
- Village Pump is in need of repainting. Jon Swannell asked to do so, to be paid from prize for re-cycling.
- Parish Plan further to the meeting with Delia Webb M. Hindley had received copies of various e-mails concerning analysis of data. J.Gray has offered to do the work. M.Hindley will ascertain the cost involved and with council’s agreement, submit application to PDC Small Grants – Community Planning Fund. This application to include holding a Community Event to publicise the Parish Plan and leaflets to explain the survey results and priorities for action.
- Pantomime J.Brookes advised that the pantomime group will be requesting a letter of support and confirmation of the £400 offer.
