In total there were 3 printings for 1938 and 1 for 1939

6471/2, the original requisition, included GPO specimens and duties for Dealers. The issue was to be numbered 1 up each duty. The specimens are listed separately.

6471/3 was for the £1 value only and dispatched on the 12th July 1938 numbered 1 up.

6471/4 was due on 21st November 1938 but dispatched on the 15th December. It was for a single value, the 1/4pi, and to be numbered 1 up from 27941 onwards. This was a very urgent requisition and replaced a quantity lost on the SS Italian Prince.

Requisition 7105/1 1939

The only 1939 requisition this required this sheets to be numbered 1 up. The 3/4pi, 1pi and 11/2pi were urgently required and whole quantities of these values were to be shipped so as to reach Cyprus not later than March 1939.

The instructions went further to state that at least 150,000 of the 3/4pi, 90,000 of the 1pi and 60,000 of the 11/2pi should be dispatched by insured parcel post to reach Cyprus by 31.3.38. The balance was to be sent by the end of April or the beginning of May at least.
