Cyprus 1938-1952

The stamps of Cyprus were printed by Waterlow & Sons and consisted of 13 original values, all, with the exception of the top two values, depicting scenes or maps of the Mediterranean Island. Later additions to the series were new values in 1942, colour changes in 1943, perforation changes in 1944 and a final colour change and new value in 1951.

The duties are all printed Recess on a Multiple Script CA watermarked paper, perforated 121/2
