The Revolutionary Knitting circle was formed at the beginning of 1999 by the Drummer Bob Harrison. The other band members are; Nick Moore, Reeds. Donovan Hawley, Trumpet. Martin Harvey, Bass.

We are based in Bristol and have played at venues such as the Bebob club, Comedy club, the Folk house and the Ashton Court festival.

We are dedicated to playing purely spontaneous improvised music, composed on the spot.
The RKC Quartet explore musical textures and soundscapes more in the light of the Spontaneous Music Ensemble than what is commonly seen as the abrasiveness of 'free jazz'. This is alive music not just live music.
