Alan Quick

Press Officer

Devon born, Alan works as reporter and photographer for the Crediton Country Courier. However, his community involvement extends beyond passive reportage; Alan holds secretary posts both with The Crediton Traffic Action Group and The Exeter and District Duke of Edinburgh Awards Committee.

Alan is also an active member of the Coldridge Parochial Church Council, a bell ringer and organiser of the Coldridge annual village Maypole Dancing. As a long term member of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, he has also been Press officer for the Dartmoor Folk Festival Association for the last 20 years and Grants Officer for the last 10.  And as if that wasn’t enough, Alan is also much in demand throughout Devon as a DJ.
