Chassis Dynamometers
Welcome to the Burger Bar
John 'BurgerMan' Williamson started
DynoPower about15 years ago. He's been Dyno testing motorcycles for
Performance Bikes magazine, amongst others for over 5 years,
using DynoPower's mobile dyno unit. This was originally built to
allow us to fully develop our DynoPower (c) software and
electronics with a view to offering the result as a Self build
dyno option in the future. Update! This we now do...
The bike
shown is a stock UK importers test bike, as road tested by the
motorcycle press. It is a GSXR750 WT and it made 115 horsepower
peak (corrected to SAE J1349) on this forth gear roll on Chassis Dyno test.
This is a normal figure and was exactly as expected at the rear
wheel of this model.
BurgerMan got his name from towing around his mobile dyno trailer which looks like a burger van. But it does not just serve burgers, it serves accurate corrected power figures to those that want them. For any bike from pedal cycles (cyclists! approx. 1.3hp with a lot of sweating) up to 300 or 400hp Turbo-Nitrous drag bikes that can cause nervous breakdowns! He also tests normal street bikes of course!
In
the Burger Bar 'BurgerMan' will answer your questions about dyno
testing, motorcycles, engines or just anything to do with serious
horsepower.
Or you can even get a free beer if you need
one!
