Stainless Steel Cleaning Tip!

Gets rid of the brown discolouration (oxides) caused by heat.

Tip: ever wanted to clean the brown or black-corroded nozzle and combustor?.. and found the oxide to be extremely hard to remove? This is what you do: take a stainless steel tank ( old casserole! ) and fill it with new battery acid. Take a 6V/30A mains transformer ( form an old battery charger ) It must be AC current ( bypass the rectifier ), rectified current is no good, and the voltage must not exceed 6V! Also connect a 30A fuse on one lead..just in case the part touches the tank!

Connect one lead to the casserole and the other to the combustor or whatever NiCr part you want to clean, the lower it into the acid. Like magic the part start to shine in just a few seconds! Completely removing the oxide without attacking the part at all. It takes on an attractive dull grey finish just like new metal.
