We have just finished our latest software release, along with updated electronics hardware. We listened to our customers comments and made it quicker and easier to use with extra facilities such as being able to enlarge the graphs and read actual statistical data from the graph screen simply by clicking and dragging with the left and right mouse buttons respectively.
While still keeping all the features that makes it one of the most comprehensive dynamometer analysis tools available. Developed with the workshop environment in mind, (The keyboard may be used without a mouse to accomplish everything if needed) this software gives you full control of the dyno run data. We added not only mouse support but also touch screen support if required, so it's even easier to use.
You can buy as little or as much of our system as you require, you do not have to buy a complete system. You can buy from us a kit which consists of the following components :
1 Our DynoPower (c) software
2 An interface board pre wired to plug into a spare serial port on your computer (PC) This board measures how long each drum revolution takes and sends this data along with the engine rpm data to your computer.
3 A dual hall effect sensor for the drum & magnet in mounting block ready to bolt to the drum.
4 Any verbal or written help or diagrams needed and all future updates to our software including the latest Windows 95 or 98 and NT- 4 version currently being written.

DIY or Self Build kit
We
provide you with the basic electronics, Our DynoPower (c)
software and a drawing for the roller construction. All you need
to do is build a simple dyno chassis, and purchase a computer
system. Lots of printed help / instructions are also supplied,
and any verbal help needed.

(The board shown is mounted inside a box. A power supply unit not shown is also supplied. To trigger the sensor, a magnet & mounting block, to fit on the drum side face and instructions are included + any advice as required.)

This kit as described above is the technical bits and all you need from us to build a quality state of the art computer inertia dyno system.
Suits cars as well as bikes simply by using a pair of the specified drums, linked together instead of the single one as used for the bike dyno. The drum is not included.

The drum can be supplied at extra cost (Email for price) but transport costs for this very heavy item can be high depending on your location. Most large machine shops can make the drum for you, from our drawing. Because you get it made locally it should be at an advantageous price.
