I have tested lots of these bikes (the first GSXR750 WT models) and all of them made around the same power, between 114 &116 SAE Corrected bhp when new and barely run in.
I tested one for Performance Bikes magazine that was supplied as a stock test bike direct from the importers, and this one repeatedly made 123 or 124 over about a dozen runs. Very suspicious don't you think ! It turns out that this particular bike was 'assembled and set up in Japan' as one of the original press fleet bikes and then flown over ready built, and it was supposedly Identical to all the dealer showroom bikes!
