INTRODUCTION THIS BOOK is an invitation. An invitation to the reader to consider a very different understanding of the nature of illness, unhappiness and stress. All of these are usually thought of as states or conditions that are not wanted. They are misfortunes that strike at random, are beyond control and have no meaning. Or are they? The two of us have witnessed how illness, unhappiness and stress or dis-ease as all of these will be called in this book are in fact physical signs that something in life has gone wrong. It is how the individual then chooses to deal with these signs that holds the key to present and future good health and happiness. Perfect health and not dis-ease is the natural state of the human being. Most of us are, after all, born with perfect health. Dis-ease is something that we acquire without realising how at various times throughout life. We each have the ability to rid ourselves of dis-ease. It is just a question of knowing how. This book is our invitation to find out some of the simple truths and techniques that will inevitably lead to better health and a happier life. |
