Locomotives and rolling stock of the CRMR are intended to be detailed scale outline models representative of prototypes of the Isle of Man Railway Company and the Manx Northern Railway Company. The CRMR has the intention to operate locomotives and rolling stock representative of all of the principal classes historically used on the Isle of Man 3' gauge steam railways and, subject to funds permitting, some of those which were proposed but never built.
