Edenmouth Lodge and Cottages are 300 yds from the River Tweed and just 3 miles from the beautiful Borders town of Kelso, and are set off a private road in 20 acres of farm land.
Our lodge and cottages have been tastefully and sympathetically converted from a model stone and slate steading, to provide unique and quality accommodation.

Always a favourite with the young at heart are our miscellaneous collection of ducks, geese, sheep, rabbits and the infamous ‘Mr Pig’. Edenmouth is also home to the well known Fowington Pointers.

The Local Area

Steeped in history the Borders will wrap you in its gentle hills, impress you with its abbeys, homes and castles. The famous Tweed will tempt you to cast a fly for trout or salmon and lure you to track its course. Plenty of space in our deep freeze for the spoils.
Hill walking and cycling are excellent ways to get to the heart of the Scottish Borders. Edenmouth makes a great base with a lock up store for bikes and drying room for 'misty' days.
For golfers there are many challenging local eighteen hole courses at Kelso, Coldstream, Roxburgh and others within easy travelling distance. Horse racing and Point-to-Point dates are very important in the Kelso calender. If you wish to explore the Borders on horseback, there are riding schools locally or you can bring your own horse as we have paddocks available.
Kelso boasts an Ice Rink (seasonal) swimming pool, cinema, gymnasium and plenty of pubs.
Kelso’s Springwood Park is host to many annual events including 2 day Agricultural Show, Ram and Horse Sales, Border Union Championship Dog Show and acts as a starting point to the newly revived Tweed Raft Race.
The excitement and carnival atmosphere of Kelso Civic Week must not be missed.
