Ironhorse Studios are one of Scotland's foremost blacksmithing company's formed by Steve Payne and Elspeth Bennie. The Studio undertakes a wide variety of architectural, sculptural and domestic metalwork and public art. Most of the work is bespoke, creating pieces specifically for the client with the focus being on contemporary design. Most pieces are hot forged from mild steel. Aluminium, copper, brass, stainless steel and cast iron may also be used and we can incorporate other media such as wood, stone, ceramics or cast glass.
