Welcome to The Cottage at Ilsington Lawn.

The Cottage adjoins the main house.

It consists of two bedrooms, living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and sleeps two to four people plus sofa-bed (regrettably no under six year-olds).

It has its own pretty little garden, with direct footpath access over the little river Piddle to the unspoilt heart of the old village, just moments away.

The private outlook from the main first floor bedroom is a rural idyll: across meadows with horses, and often deer, foxes, herons and egrets.

Conveniently situated on the edge of the village, The Cottage is a great choice for those who wish to stay a while and explore Dorset with the freedom of self-catering. There is plenty of private parking space, including two carports.

The village has a well-stocked general store with long opening hours. Five minutes away by car on the outskirts of Dorchester is a large (award-winning!) Tesco, open 24 hours.

This holiday cottage is available for stays of a week or more, for long weekends, or mid-week breaks, depending on the time of year.
