We have a challenging new golf course in San Juan, within 5 minutes drive of our apartment.

Opened in 2008, Aguilan has already been widely reported as being one of the best up and coming courses in Southern Spain and is described as ‘spectacular and demanding’.

Should you wish to go further afield there are 4 main courses within 15 to 20 miles south of San Juan, Valle de Este, Marina de la Torre, Cortijo Grande and Desert Springs (which is said to be the only Arizona/California type desert course in Europe). Travelling north, in less than an hour you can be in the La Manga area (in our opinion not nearly as nice as the San Juan area) but it boasts a number of great courses.
