To Get There
San Juan de los Terreros is in Almeria Province on the
northern coastal border with Murcia Province. The recommended airports are
Almeria and Murcia (San Javier), each being just over one hour drive from
the apartment.
On occasion some exceptional flight deals justify the additional 40 minute
drive from Alicante and the route is still straightforward. The table
shows the main low cost flight operators but other airlines such as BMI
Baby and Thomson operate to Alicante from Manchester, but not to Almeria
or Murcia. Note that in some instances there are seasonal variations in
the flight frequencies and times.
We can arrange transfers, but as we recommend that you have
a car during your stay, it is cheaper to pick up your car from the
airport. The journeys from both San Javier and Almeria are very straight
forward, mainly on quiet motorways with no need to negotiate any town
centres (we can supply you with more detailed information).
Below is a table illustrating the principal ‘low cost’
airlines operating from the North West of England . Late last year,
Blackpool airport announced that there would be a £10 levy on all
passengers, but that parking at the airport would be free. Flights should
be booked as early as possible to get the best fares. ‘Late deals’ would
seem to be a thing of the past.
There are a number of hire car companies operating from each airport but we
have always been very satisfied with

event of a problem.
