Welcome to Our Apartment

The purpose of our website is to tell you all about San
Juan de los Terreros and to invite you to spend a sun drenched,
relaxing holiday there in our beautifully appointed family apartment. |

As you browse through the pages you will see that San
Juan de los Terreros is a small, peaceful resort at the northern tip
of Almeria province with blue flag beaches and a wonderful climate,
illustrated by the fact that nearby is the only area in Europe
officially classified as desert!

After such a poor ‘British Summer’ in 2008, we must
all be looking for our ration of guaranteed sunshine in 2009.
However, the ‘credit crunch’ and current low value of the pound has
led to the general feeling (fuelled by the press) that ‘foreign’
holidays will be much more expensive this year.
We are in a lower cost coastal area of Spain, so our
rental rates are very reasonable and are at the same level as last
year (in addition we now offer a 10% discount for bookings of 2
weeks or more). Payment is in sterling, so there is no increase in
cost. |

We are not seeing any significant increases in air
fares, and due to lower fuel costs, the fuel supplements have
disappeared. As this is also payable in sterling, then it follows
that the main basic cost of the holiday remains affordable and
unchanged. As a guideline, the cost, per person of a 2 week holiday
in San Juan for most of the year will vary between approximately
£300 and £350 per person based on four people sharing including apartment rental, air fares and car hire
(say Ford Focus with a full tank). |
We believe that San Juan and the surrounding area is
something special, which is why we go there so often. After browsing our
website, we hope you will agree and will want to try it for yourself.
