Letter from The Arts Council of Wales of an offer
of £39,412.00 towards the Upgrading of the Hall.

Own Labour £5,100.00
The contribution of own labour has been provided
by the following members to whom should go the thanks of the whole choir
and the local community.
Philip Jones (Hon. Treasurer),John Williams,
Building Control Officer, John Jones Building Sub Committee.
Various choir members who have responded to requests
for assistance from the B.C.O.
George Palmer, Vivian Hobbs, David Lloyd,W.Oshea,Malcolm
Whitcombe and Brian Palfrey for all the tiling work.
James Morgan and Vice President Gary Bond of
Warmaway for contributions to the decorative glass work.
The contribution as own labour actually amounted
to some £7,000.
The Choirs thanks also to our President Mr. John
Powell. O.B.E. MC. who has been very supportive on both applications.

The Year closed with a balance of £2195.44 but with cash in bank of £10082.75 the difference being building committed funds.
