1:24 figures

After seeing the fantastic on line tutorial by Chris Walas here, I thought I should have another go at providing the staff of the SLR. I didn't want to lose the caricature feel but wanted figures that were a little closer to the right shape. Although there are some great figures available commercially, they don't look particularly 'local' to me and the drivers wouldn't be guaranteed to fit my bashed locos anyway.

Characters so far (from L to R, top to bottom): Harry and Eric Penfold (old and new), Horace Manning, Mister Manning and Sam Maltby, Lucy Manning, the Penfold brothers and Sam again, and finally Henry Boot...this little railway is taking on a life of it's own!

I'm quite pleased with the results so far.. learning all the time. Not very pleased with the painting, especially after years of doing a far better job on hundreds of wargames figures!
