Top Cottage is hidden away in a leafy hillside
overlooking dramatic Millers Dale with the River Wye
splashing through below.
As you drive up the old coach road, now just a quiet country
lane, you will realise that you have arrived at somewhere
very special and at the perfect place to base your Peak
District holiday.
Millers Dale itself is a small tranquil village, surrounded
by tree-clad hills, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.
Sit and picnic by the River Wye in Cheedale, explore the
Monsal Trail, which meanders down the valley to Bakewell, or
enjoy many other fabulous walks in the area.
The cottage will provide you with comfortable and
well equipped holiday accommodation in the very midst of
the Peak District National Park.
The
front door opens into the cosy lounge with comfortable
settees, dining area, TV, video and games. Through the
arched door way is the
kitchen, well equipped with ceramic hob and cooker,
microwave, fridge, dishwasher and automatic washer.
There are
two bedrooms: a double and a single both with their own
en-suite shower rooms and each with WC and wash basin.
There is
an attractive south facing garden area with views over Millers Dale to
the Monsal Trail. Garden furniture and barbecue are
provided.
Linen and
towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are
included. A cot, high chair and stair gate can be requested.
Ample parking is available at the cottage. Smoking is not
permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be
difficult.
Well
behaved pets and children are welcome.
