"There are shortcuts to happiness and dancing is one of them." (Vicki Baum) ...This reflects my experience that I am always happier after circle dancing. It is hard to know what "does it" for me. Maybe it is the variety of wonderful music and steps from all over the world which I can choose to fit the feel of the group; perhaps it is the pleasure of passing on these ancient and modern dances and watching people relax as they find they can do it. It may be the sense of community, engendered by dancing (and enjoying tea and biscuits) in a circle round a centre. All you need is a pair of hands and feet to join us in the Activities Room at Bold Street from 1 pm to 3pm everyTuesday afternoon. Ring me if you want more information. Group Leader: Pam |
