BOBBIN LACE consists of many different styles. Bocks Point - A very fine lace
maybe used for Wedding Veils. Bedfordshire - consisting mainly of plaits and the
dreaded leaves. Honiton is also a very fine lace, really good eyesight needed for this.
Torchon was a simple lace, the name derived from the French word for rag or duster.
Sometimes known as Beggars Lace as it was quick and cheap to produce. Most of our
group work this lace - Please don't take offence Ladies! Lacemaking is a very relaxing hobby and this year I have worked in colour for the first time - a picture of tulips in red and greens with a cream background.
