In the 2008 -2009 year, the Literature Group were pleased to invite members
of other Groups to share our sessions when there was an appropriate subject. We
welcomed the Classical History Group to a session led by Derek Meakin, and in
July some of the Poetry Group joined us for a talk about Metaphysical Poetry,
which was led by Jacky Starkey. We look at all aspects or Literature, frequently inviting speakers who are experts in their field, some, but not all, from within WU3A. Our meetings are held in Warrington Library in Museum St., on the first Thursday of each month at 1.30pm. Group Contact: John W |
