The Tai Chi Group (established Jan 2002) has had another
successful year and once again continued through the
summer. Most sessions have 14-16 people in attendance who
enjoy the exercise and benefits of the art.A recent report said, "The research shows that people with an active involvement in Tai Chi were in far better shape, their heart and circulatory functions, their breathing and metabolic functions and the strength of their bone structure, were far superior to those who did not pursue any physical activity, other than their everyday normal routine." It is also a social occasion, as people arrive before the session to have a chat before we commence or call in the coffee shop, after the session, for lunch. Sessions take place on "odd" Fridays of the year in Bold Street Methodist Mission on the top floor at 10.15 am. Group Leader: Brenda
