Hi,
my name is William Fox, also known as Firefox. I'm from
the UK, and I'll be lookng after the site for you.This
site is unique on the web in giving advice and help to
realise your chosen fashion identity, so I don't intend
to change any of the main pages that Jenny has set up,
but I might add a few more links and pictures here and
there. I would however like to develop this section,
showing some of my shoe collection, and also pages
showing how you can modify, repair, or even build shoes
from scratch. I'm size 40 in shoes or a UK 7, so I'm one
of the lucky ones who can go into a high street shoe shop
to try on/buy normal women's shoes, but there is a real
need for higher heels in men's styles/sizes, hence the

You
can see my picture to the right. I dress in a gothic
style with heels. This is my typical dress for work,
pleasure, and social occasions. I don't always wear heels,
but when I do they are usually 3-5" I don't really
wear what I would call fetish heels. Just typical street
fashion that you will see anywear. I'd guess I wear heels
4 or 5 days a week, and that includes work or wherever I
feel like it. I will wear stilettos too as well if I want.
I've never had any problems wearing high heels in 15
years of wearing them in normal life as a guy. I like the
extra height, and fashion individuality. I think it's up
to the individual to chose what they wear. If you
disagree, then you are welcome to continue living in the
last century with your head in the sand!

First pic shows Xaphod and Calv walking through the fountains near the Birmingham canals. Next comes me and Calv. I was wearing these ridiculous white platform mules with stupid grin to match, just for a laugh round the city centre. Calv pretends not to know me! (PS Calv, bent knees in only 3" heels, tut tut; practice that technique!) Third pic, back to sanity with some 4 1/2" blade heel ankle boots from Faith; more like my normal heeled wear. Lastly Xaphod takes a walk by the canals.
Here's
some examples from my shoe collection. I used the style
that Highluc uses to display his shoes, as I think it
shows the heel nicely. You wont find any extreme fettish
styles, 3" platforms, 7" heels, straps,
padlocks, and spangles etc. I'm not personally into
prancing around in the privacy of my bedroom. Any shoe I
buy is for wearing outside in normal life. All the shoes
here were available in normal high street stores in the
UK.
Sorry
my photographs aren't too good though. All of the heel
heights are measured at the back, and all of the sizes
are UK mens/ladies or European. Heights in mm are very
accurate, inches approximate. Many of these shoes have
been modified or the heels raised. I often add top pieces
to protect the shoe heel and add an extra 10mm of height.
I attach these with hardened steel chipboard screws which
I triple up on the wear points which gives a sharp
stiletto like sound even on block heels. You can't
enlarge any of these pictures. This is the first time I
took pictures and put hem on the net, so please forgive
me if they are a bit rough.
My
collection is quite big and it takes a bit of time to load

My
thanks are due to Jenny for setting up this site. Without
her I would not have known where to start, but things
become much easier when the way has been layed out. To
any guys who are thinking about wearing heels in public,
cast away your doubts and just do it. If you need support,
encouragement or advice, then you can always email me or
post on the discussion board. Your freedom is your
greatest asset. Don't let any narrowminded person
disabuse you of that.
