These are Bob's amazing cowboy boots he says they are "Bo Riddle boots with 5 3/4" heels. AWESOME to wear!!The boots were custom made by Bo Riddle. He made what I asked for..a male looking boot with very tall heels. He will send you a kit to measure your feet and goes from there. The fit is superb and the boots are very comfortable. I have other boots with modified heels so I am used to walking in 5"+ heels. Bo is in Arkansas. http://www.boriddleboots.com. Check him out....expensive but a boot I can wear without looking feminine. "
These are some of Xaphod's shoes. He has the following to say:
"The attached shows a picture of a pair of Oxfords I bought from Ad Hoc. The balance was so off that I nearly fell over backwards when I wore them. As you see, I included a 1/2 inch piece of ally stock between the heel tip and the heel proper. The ally was attached by tapping out the tubular stiletto heel insert M3. To prevent rotation, evo-stick was used before the shaped ally block was finally attached to the heel. The plastic stiletto tip was re-attached with evo-stick, having pulled the metal insert out, the screw head conveniently sitting in the resulting hole and locating the stiletto tip. Some paring was needed to get a smooth line. The resulting look is much the same as classy shoes with bits of shiny metal at the toes and now 4" heels."
(Ally stands for aluminium by the way if you were wondering!) It's a personal choice, but I would have covered the insert black afterwards or used a silver heel tip although the banding effect is unusual.

These are all from John and Sue's collection. John is from UK and sounds like me in that he often wears typical street fashion heeled ankle boots. However, he also likes some of these extreme styles for clubwear and other occasions. The red oxford shoes are John's although Sue can wear them. Made by Cypriana, Myddleton road, Wood Green London. Price £150 back in 1990. 6 1/2" heels. Wear factor - difficult but quite stunning at a club. They have been worn on the street. The black / gold knee boots are Sue's. Again made by Cypriana, price £350 about 1991. 7 1/4 " heel with no platform ; wear factor not bad and manageable over short distances on the street. The others are from Jeff Baines, 6" metal heel with 2" platform.
