Welcome to this website. I'd like to put forward a few ideas about the concept of men wearing high heels as footwear in normal life situations. The fact that you're here shows you have some interest at least in either participating in, or understanding about, this growing phenomenon.

Let's start by looking at a few reasons why you might wear high heels as a guy:

1. Fashion individuality. It's healthy to express your desires of your fashion image as you see them. It's not healthy to be coerced by other's perceptions of how you should or shouldn't dress. When I say "healthy" I mean exactly that. Inner stress or frustration born out of inability to exercise your harmless fashion preferences is bad for the body and heart. Relax, stay cool, and you will live a long and happy life.
2. Extra height. Height is power. There are many taller women now who are wearing heels of 3 and 4 inches. There's no reason why men can't match them.
3. Extra choice. Men's shoes are boring being very limited in heel height, shape, and uppers styling. It's criminal how society brainwashes the male population in their early years into thinking they must wear a very narrow range of fashions. Unfortunately, most people are not intelligent or brave enough to flush out this garbage view and end up with hang-ups over expressing their true fashion intent. There's no reason why males shouldn't wear colorful or ostentatious items. It happens in many parts of the human and animal kingdom, but our standard view of male/female is purely nurtured cultural brainwashing.
4. Oh yes... the sexual thing. Foot reflexology, endorphin release, and mild euphoria. All of these theories have been put forward. All I can say is there is definitely something in it. Women have harnessed this effect for ages. Many men have discovered it, but never got out of their bedroom. It's much more fun outside in the real world.

If you are considering exercising your fashion choice in footwear, I hope you will peruse this site where you will find much practical advice from both Jenny, and I hope, myself as well. I'd imagine most people reading this would be male, but if you are female, then you're probably among the first to realise that men who push fashion boundaries like this are for the most part typical heterosexual guys. The old images of drag queens, and other such preconceived ideas born from ignorance, are completely remote from this modern 21st century phenomenon which is slowly gaining ground.

Lastly, I would urge any man who feels this way to go out and wear the footwear of YOUR choice. I am in the UK, and in 15 years I have had NO problem in doing this. I have a normal social life, probably more active than many. The time is right for people to accept this, and it has been so since the late 1960's. It may be difficult at first, but after the first few times it becomes much easier. You will also encourage others in your area to do it.

Let's not get carried away. I don't think the majority of men have the slightest interest in this type of fashion, even if some of that diffidence is a result of their nurtured brainwashing. However for the 5-10% of you that do have these leanings, the time has come to realise your ambitions. I can only say again. Express yourself and don't hang back. I might even say "Please", for all our sakes to help squash forever the last crumbling bastions of ignorance.
