It's been a long hot summer with few opportunities to fish the streams around here. I have taken a moment or two here and there and the results with some of the flies you sent have been eye opening for me. Smallmouth Bass and panfish were more abundant than trout but the flies worked (of course), and a 16 inch smallmouth is pretty fiesty.
