Site navigation:
Various elements and sections of flyinghaggis may be accessed via the buttons either side of the logo - this will often present you with a menu for that area from which sub-menus can be accessed. Some buttons will open a single page or display a message saying the option is not available (for now) or may cause the logo and buttons to disappear when you go to that area - this is partly due to an updating process being carried out on flyinghaggis. For more information about what is available click here. If this page is not displayed with a logo and buttons at the top click here.
Flyinghaggis sites are usually best viewed with Internet Explorer (preferably IE5) as some use advanced elements (JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets etc). Sadly, (as Flyinghaggis is no fan of Microsoft!) Mr Gates and his company, having got ahead of the competition, seem to have retained a lead in implementation of javascript etc. Though other browsers do have their merits it does not seem worth making them the default browser. If you do use another browser some dynamic elements may either not work at all, or not as well. If there are no flyinghaggises crossing this screen then you will miss some of the things on this site.
Copyright notice: All materials (whether written work, images or whatever) on flyinghaggis sites are copyright. Copyright infringements are liable to prosecution. Please note: Saving material to hard drive, making multiple copies of material etc is prohibited without specific permission (with the exception of students saving the five images for the Composer/FrontPage introductory exercises). Educational establishments wishing to make use of this site, beyond students looking at it, should first contact Flyinghaggis. There is not currently an arrangement in place to cover educational use by anyone other than the author. The claim of "fair use" (outside of students visiting the site to read the material and individuals printing a small number of pages for their own information) will not be accepted. Making multiple copies of (for example printing pages for use as handouts to students) , or saving pages whether on floppy disks, computer hard drive or other storage device, material from a flyinghaggis site without specific permission (and payment of a royalty fee if requested as a condition of permission) is an infringement of copyright. The author is a freelance writer, designer and tutor. Such infringement is basically theft of the author's income! Commercial use of any material, in any way whatsoever, without licence (and payment of requisite royalties) is an absolute breach of copyright and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
