How do I add my search?

To add your search go to the page where you would like you search to appear, i.e. Army/Navy/RAF click the links above to navigate to these pages, then click the "Add Your Search Details" link, or click into "This months searches" and you can click a link at the top of the search listings page. In either case complete the form that is presented and click the "Submit" button.  You can view your search listing straight away.

How do I add my search request without having my email address displayed?

To add your details and not have your email address displayed you must complete the form which appears after clicking the link called "Secure Listing Request" which is above.  after submitting this form your search will be added to the relevant page and a unique Lost Comm's email address will be shown for your listing.  Any replies will be forwarded to you via Lost Comm's.

How do I find my friends using Lost Comm's?

Finding your friends can be done in one of two ways both are dependant on your friends details being listed on Lost Comm's.  The first is to browse through the pages of the relevant section which can be time consuming.  The quicker way is to use the search facility, you can type their surname or nickname or unit into the search box above or into the search box on the "search Site" page.  If your friend is listed they will show up in the results.  The site is indexed on a weekly basis so newer entries may not show up in the search results straight away.  If you have tried to find your friends and have had no success please leave your details on the site as your friends might be looking for you and it would be sad to miss them.

How do I amend my search details?

To have your search amended all you have to do is email your amendments to us at amendments@LostComms.co.uk   If you copy and paste your original submission from the Lost Comm's pages and add this to your email this would be a great help.
