I am trying to locate the whereabouts of two Australian Cell mates who served time, along with myself,on Stonecutters Island in the year of 1964. We all admired Commander Wallace, but no-one seems to remember him or us of the 64th Flotilla LCA's. We were there on D-day and previously N.Africa Sicily and Italy. I've just turned 80 and wonder if there is anyone who knows ANYTHING re the above- it seems we just didn't exist - I've never seen a mention of the 64th in ANY book, paper, publication....... Any info would be welcome!!
