What we believe
1) We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and on it rests all
authority in matters of the spiritual life, and conduct of the church.
2) We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and
in Jesus Christ His only Son. We believe in the Holy Spirit Who proceeds from both the
Father and the Son.
3) We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His death,
resurrection and ascension and that He now sits at the right hand of God.
4) We believe in the basic sinfulness of man and that the only means of
salvation is by grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through faith in Him.
5) We believe in the Holy Spirit and His all embracing work in the
illumination of the Scriptures and the all embracing work giving life to the church.
6) We believe in the Sacraments of Baptism, marriage, and the Lord's
supper as institued by Christ Himself.
7) We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Day of
Judgement and the resurrection of the body.
Junior Church
Our junior church is made up from children from the age of 3 years upwards. They
meet every Sunday at 10:45 am in the school room before joining us in the church until the
end of the second hymn or song. However they join for the whole service on the occasions
of our Family Services which are always on the 4th Sunday in the month unless it is a
special day, for e.g., Easter Sunday.
Playgroup
Our playgroup meets each weekday during school time. It opens at 09:00 hrs till
12 noon. It is registered with the appropriate authorities.
House Fellowship
Our house fellowship meets normally twice during the week. On Wednesday evenings at 8pm
a programme entitled Seek and Speak is followed. Topics include Bible study and various
other aspects to do with the Christian way of life. The hosts usually offer refreshments
at the end of the evening. The other meeting takes place on a Saturday morning and is
exclusively a time for praying together. This commences at 08:30 hrs. Both these activities
are published in the weekly notice sheet.
Worship
We try in our worship to meet the needs of everybody and also to appeal to all ages, but
more importantly to give worship that is pleasing to God.
Sacraments
The church is available for the services of: Holy Matrimony, Holy Communion,
Holy Baptism and others such as dedications and funerals.
Prayer Chain
Our prayer chain is normally for the internal matters. We will however, take prayer
requests.
