Donations of Household Items If you have good quality furniture and household items including cutlery, crockery and curtains available for donation, and they comply with current fire regulations where appropriate, you can contact us by telephoning or e-mailing our office (please click here). We reserve the right to decline items offered for donation on the basis of their condition and/or storage space in our warehouse. We are always pleased to accept suitable items which are delivered to the warehouse but please contact us before you come. We are unable to accept washing machines, dishwashers, older fridges, freezers and microwaves. Electric cookers in good condition are always needed. We are also unable to deal with gas appliances, carpets (except rugs), personal clothing and exceptionally large items such as wall units, sideboards and dressing tables. In those cases where we are unable to take certain items we may be able to help you to find alternative arrangements. Here a volunteer enters details of a donation onto the computer.
