We can list these in to four different areas, but each often overlaps into one of the other area's. At this point, we must stress that we are NOT general photographers and that we do specialise in just the areas listed below. We also provide specialised services that include Exhibition stands and panels along with specialised design - Design, Layout & Printing for printed literature such as brochures, etc., - along with corporate video productions, all as part of our Imaging Consortium.
Our commercial photography encompasses studio photography for commercial brochures, advertising and special purpose images. We have, over the years, evolved innovative techniques and distinctive, creative styles to our photography. From complete "in camera" multi-images (created entirely on one piece of film), to using the latest in technology of digital imaging to create the desired effect. We also cater for the client who cannot "bring the mountain to Mohammed". Instead, we simply do a full studio setup "on site" and create the image as we would otherwise do in the studio. Our meticulous attention to detail (bourne from an engineering background), a flexible and lateral thinking approach helps to give us an edge for our highly creative images.
Industrial Photography
Our industrial photography is no less creative than our commercial work. We are often called in at the end of a completed project or product to literally "get the best out of it"! We photograph out on site - anywhere! We take a similar approach with our Industrial Images to those of our commercial work. Where lighting is needed, we use our "on site studio set up", adapting creative lighting effects on anything from small machinery to complete factories, bringing our clients' products to life, creating exciting, attention grabbing images, even from some of the most mundane subjects. Inside or outside of "four walls", our many clients place complete trust in us to come up with the goods! Tied in with our Digital Imaging, this has expanded our horizons to untold depths.
Aerial Photography
Our aerial work takes on the same flavour of meticulous attention to detail as the rest of our photography. Our clear, crisp images, encompass intricate detail. We usually only fly, wherever possible, in the "right" conditions for the subject. We do not fly in any old weather, that would only result in so-so images! We always shoot on a minimum of the "larger" medium format cameras, enabling images to be produced up to large exhibition sizes without loss of quality. And with digital imaging, we can do untold wonders to the image (see our Digital Construction page). This leads us to the next - and perhaps now one of the most exciting - areas - Digital Imaging.
Digital Imaging
Digital Imaging, whilst still relatively in it's infancy, is starting to come of age, faster and bigger than most of us could have ever imagined in our wildest dreams, just a few short years ago! Those of us who were brought up on the good old 160 year old technology of silver halide film, probably still cannot believe their eyes. We have encompassed and welcomed this wonderful new technology with open arms. A superb tool with which to work, it has opened our horizons to virtually limitless extremes.
Amongst the usual Digital Imaging multi-image creations and retouching of images, lies one of our specialities - Digital Construction. From complete terminals with intricate detail to complete building of bridges and the like, actually in situ, virtually as it will look in the future. Just take a look at our "Building Bridges" in the Special Interests section and sample the meticulous attention to intricate detail that we apply to our images.
