Water bottles

Leather water bottles are pine pitch proofed, black brewers pitch or beeswax proofed bottles can be supplied on request. All bottles come with a leather thong to hang over your shoulder and a wooden stopper.

 Sword belts

Sword belts, these are supplied with brass buckles. If you have your own buckles you want me to use please let me know.

 Scabbards

All scabbards are made to fit your sword, so therefore it follows that I will need your sword for a few days. I also need to know what type of sword belt you have.

 Highland targes

Highland targes, these are made from  ¾ "  thick wood, covered on the back side with rough bovine (cow) hide   . They are fitted with arm strap, arm pad and hand grip. The front side as standard is covered with smooth bovine hide and comes with a nail design that is contemporary with either the 17th or 18th century.

 Gun bags and carbine straps

Leather gun bags, these are for storing your musket in during transport. They are much stronger than the linen type and are made to order due to varying gun sizes.

 Re-enactment shoes and brogues

These are based on contemporary illustrations and descriptions. They were originally pieces of rough un-tanned leather that were wrapped around Highlanders feet. No doubt the better off would have used better leather. Mine are made from thick waxed leather and are fitted with an in-sole for comfort. To get the best fit I need a drawing of the outline of your foot to make the in-sole.
