Joining a mailing list can be both a learning and a sharing experience for Family Historians. If you are interested in a specific subject, surname or area you may enjoy being part of one of the thousands of mailing lists available on the net. If you do not find something of interest in our suggestions listed below, visit Rootsweb and look for something more suitable to your needs.

To Join a mailing list you must SUBSCRIBE. To be removed from a mailing list you must UNSUBSCRIBE. You may choose to receive messages in one of two ways:

1. MAIL MODE (messages sent to the list come one at a time)
2. DIGEST MODE (a block of messages sent to the list come together as one e-mail)

We have tried to make it easy for you to join one of the following lists. Follow directions EXACTLY - then wait for things to happen as messages are delivered to your e-mail box on a regular basis. There are no charges to be part of a mailing list and the information which flows may prove useful and relevant to your research and is often very informative.
