This site is to describe my amateur radio activities and share some useful information. Click on most of the pictures for a larger one.
This is me with the K2; I have tried a number of rigs and have settled on just two that I like for home operation: the Elecraft K2 and the Ten-Tec Orion. Both are superb CW rigs - my favourite mode of communication, accounting for roughly 75% of my QSOs. Most of my operation is spent on topband chasing after DX from an rather noisy suburban QTH or chatting on the G3LYW net on a Friday evening.
