Located only forty miles south of Sarasota, the area enjoys an average year round temperature of 75°F and the sea is always in the 80's. The location of our home is within easy reach of the beaches at Englewood and Boca Grande. The pictuesque town of Venice is only a short drive away. The Gulf Coast with its sandy, golden beaches is an easy fifteen minutes drive away, and golf courses are literally within two minutes. Temporary membership is readily available to villa guests. There is excellent shopping at nearby Port Charlotte, about fifteen minutes drive away. There you will find drastically reduced costs in comparison to the UK. There are many fine restaurants in the vicinity, excellent leisure activities and much, much more. In fact, everything you could possibly want for a wonderful holiday! Other activities include biking, fishing, wildlife viewing, golf, tennis, swimming, snorkeling and diving, water skiing and boating. Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are an easy day out. Disney is drivable but we generally advise guests to stay over in Orlando and then stay with us afterwards - the perfect antidote to Disney! |
