City hammer relegated Sky Blues

Bangor City 6 Coventry City 0 - Axa FA Premier League 28th April 2002

Bangor girls had an emphatic six-nil victory over Coventry City to condemn the Midlands side to relegation. Ten minutes from the break Katie Williams made it three with a cool finish after latching on to a great through ball from Ceryl Jones.

Bangor were always in control and after the restart added to their score when a great build up resulted in a free kick twenty-five yards out. Ceryl Jones stepped up and scored with a low drive into the corner.
