HIT AND RUN...
In October 2000 we had a lovely welcome one morning. Someone had decided it would be a good idea to drive straight into the side of our factory.
We couldn't go inside to call anyone as the wall was threatening to fall in. So we climbed over the other side and took this photo. The wall turns in at an angle of 45º. The whole wall is held on its balance point by a PLASTIC sewer breather pipe!
It ripped the gate clean off. The other gate snapped off its hinges as soon as we tried to move it.

The police said that stolen cars are often driven into walls to set the airbags off!
Over the next 3 weeks the rebuild started and stopped. The weather was really bad. During this time, water found its way into some of the electrics and we had fireworks on a daily basis.
Well, it gave everyone in Wedgwood Gate a bit of entertainment.
