The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs has warned that
some lawlessness and civil disturbance are a possibility
in Fiji following an unsuccessful coup in mid-2000.
While it is possible
to travel safely to Fiji, some areas remain under night curfew, and
civil unrest relating to the trials of the coup participants is
possible.
