Autumn Amble 27th September 2009

September 27th saw the 38th Autumn Amble and the last one to be organised by Bryan Read. This year he excelled with his normal mix of tight, bumpy, twisty and steep roads. Scenery as ever was superb and the route was enjoyed by all who really like to DRIVE their Austins. The day was made more interesting by the inclusion of David Dimbleby and crew who were making a documentary for the BBC featuring Barry Mulroy's Box Saloon.

Our after dinner treat at the hotel was a most enjoyable and somewhat adult version of a Punch and Judy Show performed by Tony Mealing.
