driving in all directions… It was a great deal of fun to shop in local

'Thank
you for sharing your fantastic house and garden with us. We've had one of our
most memorable holidays to date. We've gone for bike rides, done walks from the
house, been to all the main places...We've dined at some superb restaurants,
drunk fine wines, barbecued many times in your garden (what a spectacular
setting), seen the amazing fireflies...had a trip to The Mall (gulp) where I
bought a beautiful leather bag for a fraction of the price I would pay
here...can't wait to go again...perfect location for that area and all its
wonderful sites and places to visit...Thank you again for a fantastic holiday.'

'We had a lovely time at La Capanna.... We were mortified to find out before we left that we could not find a pen amongst us and consequently could not add to the visitor's book. That was such a pity because our comments would have been only praise and contentment with the accommodation, the garden and the environment generally. Vallombrosa was a find and there one or two very commendable restaurants, which were worth the trip. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks for making this available.' 'I must say that we had the most wonderful time at ‘La Capanna’, so relaxing and quiet – exactly what we expected. We slotted straight into local life – early morning walk to the fruit and veg. shop in Cascia, buy some great produce, back to the villa, lunch outdoors, glass of wine, read a book in the sunshine, cook dinner, more wine and relax listening to music - BLISS. Thanks very much for the opportunity of sharing your holiday home, making a great holiday for my wife and I. We will certainly consider a return visit in the not too distant future.'
