Very sadly, Bob Coltart, a founder member of The Maroondogs,

passed away on Tuesday 24th July.

Bob wanted the band to carry on, which thay are doing.

The Maroondogs will be honouring all their gig obligations, so

please come along to their gigs in the future to help Bob's wish materialise

and to fondly remember the good times.

In the short to medium term Nick Stevens joins Kevin and Bernie

as lead guitarist.

The Maroondogs have been together as a band for a number of years and are well established in the southeast and the UK. They have toured extensively throughout Britain and Europe and have 'backed' a whole variety of UK and International artists. They have recorded and released original materials for themselves and other bands, and their most recent release is a CD of original material on Rollercoaster Records called

Kevin Bowyer - Bass guitar / vocals

Before formiong the Maroondogs with Bob & Bernie, Kevin was bass guitarist with Henry McCulloch - of Paul McCartney's Wings fame. He has toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe and like Bob has had several of his songs released in Europe and Britain. He is also part of the Germany Ska scene.

Bernie Watts- Drums / percussion / vocals

Before joining The Maroondogs, Bernie trained at the London School of Music and has toured extensively, working with many artists including the original band of Ross Godfrey of Moorcheeba and Richard Harrison of Stereolab

The band has teamed up with Terri Lewis and released a CD Single in support of the Kent Air Ambulance Trust called

 Fly Away

under the pseudonym

All proceeds of the sale of this CD Single go to the Kent Air Ambulance Trust
